I Love October!

October has always been one of my favorite months! It could be because it's filled
with birthdays-- including mine! :D Or the fact I do love fall!

To start this month off we picked up my grandma from my Aunt Lyn's house! She stayed with us for a few days during her transition back to Florida, and it was great spending time with her. My dad came up for a whole 24 hours to drive her back to Florida! Since his birthday was the week after, and my grandma's 80th was at the end of the month.. we decided to do a little 'party' since we wouldn't be there to celebrate with them! Aunt Val & her family were already coming over to spend the evening with her so it worked out well!

--"Peepaw... is that you in my bed?!?!"

One cold day while Todd was working I took the boys to a "duck race." They dropped about 5,000 ducks into a pond! It was kinda cool to watch!

We had some days of awesome weather! One day we went to the Montgomery Airport in Gaithersburg, and ate lunch at there restaurant. Todd's dad joined us, and Connor LOVED watching the airplanes!!!

Speaking of Todd's dad.. him and Sheila also came over for dinner one evening! They brought some chicken from popeyes, and we hung out!

Logan is 5 months now, and started eating some real fruits and veggies. When we are at home I try to make him baby food, but he seems to like the jars better! Go figure! He has also started sitting up a little on his own! Although he doesn't balance too well yet, so its only for short periods! He has two teeth now, and maybe a third on the way!

No October would be complete without a visit to the pumpkin patch. The weather was absolutely perfect, and both boys were exhausted when we left!! (which meant a nice nap for everyone when we got home!!) We played in corn, went on a tractor ride, went on a hayride, did a few mini mazes, got lost in a corn field maze, went on a few slides, etc! It was a lot of fun!

This month we also went to a welcome home party for my second cousin? Matt who just returned home from Afghanistan? Somewhere over there anyways!

For our house this month we got new windows!! I also taught myself how to hang wallpaper, and have started creating my new favorite room in our house! It's not complete yet, but here is a sneak peek!

Here are some more random pictures from this month:

I can't wait to see what November has in store!
